ROAD RACES
Where/when do I get my race pack?
Race packs/numbers are collect on the day only. Registration is in the marquee on the recreation ground and is open from 12 - 1.30pm. All numbers must be collected by this time. Please bring some safety pins.
Where can I park?
We encourage you to walk in where possible however if you need to drive, limited parking is available in the following local carparks - free carpark on Riding Lane, Church Hall carpark, Sackville School, Hildenborough Primary School and Weald Court. No parking is available on the recreation ground and please avoid parking in Riding Lane.
Are there toilets/changing facilities?
Toilets and changing facilities are available in the Village Hall on Riding Lane. There is also a bag drop at this location.
Who can take part in the road race?
The road race is open to absolutely everyone - from those completing their first run for fun, to those looking to bag a new PB. The race is fully UKA Licensed. Age limits apply to the road race as follows: 2.5mile - minimum age 11, 5mile - minimum age 15, 10mile - minimum age 17. Children's races are available for our younger sports stars!
We are all about inclusivity but we do have a duty of care to our volunteer marshals who could be out on the course for a number of hours. Walk/running is perfect and all runners of any speed - we can't wait to see you - but we would encourage you not to plan to walk the entire distance from the start.
Can I enter on the day?
On the day entries will be available however we encourage you to sign up prior to the race to avoid any disappointment as we do have a capacity of the number of runners that can enter. You can enter in the registration marquee between 12 and 1.30pm. Cash only please.
CHILDREN'S RACES
All children's entries are £5, on the day - cash only please. Registration for children's races is open from 10am-11.30am. If your child is running as part of a school team, their entry will have been organised by the school.
Races wills run in the order below and start at 12, followed immediately by the prize giving.
All children's races are run on the grass within the recreation ground.
Preschool/reception - 400m (approx).
Years 1 & 2 - 600m (approx).
Years 3 & 4 - 800m (approx).
Years 5 & 6 - 1600m/1 mile (approx).
